Dusty Canyon's Story
Dusty Canyon is a beautiful dilute calico baby. She can be feisty, like calicos often are. She and her siblings--Dust Bunny, Toffee Tango, and Toasted Twig--and their mother (who later disappeared) were abandoned when their owners were evicted and the rental house was red tagged. They were left behind for more than 10 days. Animal Control refused to help them because they "looked healthy and fed" and could go inside the house through an open window. They were being fed by the kind lady who contacted us. We rescued 3 on 7-26-25, and the final on 7-28-25. The kittens are believed to be 10 weeks old, so their approximate birthdate is 5-29-25.

Dusty Canyon's adoption fee is $175, which includes spaying, a 1-year rabies shot, distemper combo (FVRCP) shots (7-31-25--CAHS), deworming (Strongid--7-31-25--CAHS), flea/earmite treatment (Revolt--7-31-25--CAHS), and microchipping through 24Petwatch (7-31-25--CAHS). They all tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV (7-31-25--CAHS).

For more information on this adorable kitten, please contact Jann at 517-410-0074 or at Jannlifsey@peoplepc.com.
