Dusty's Story

Dusty is a gentle and reserved young girl. She’s the sweetest and gentlest of her litter. Her beautiful coat is soft and luxurious, and she loves to snuggle when playtime is over. She and her siblings were relinquished to the shelter after being found in the Inland Valley. The shelter is unable to care for under aged kittens so she was rescued by our amazing team and we are so happy to present her to you! Community Cat Foundation's Adoption Policy

Once a potential adopter sees a post on an available a cat or kitten, we do an initial phone call, send them an application, schedule a phone or in person interview. If approved, they receive adoption counseling, They can visit the kitten of their choice, and if all works out, they take their cat home. We keep in touch with our adopters and offer microchip registration in case a cat is ever lost.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide specialty services for San Diego community cats. Five divisions have been created: 1. TNR services 2. Rescue and adoption 3. Community outreach and education 4. Feral cat sanctuary 5. Shelter and rescue partnerships to house cats temporarily as needed
