He can still be found napping under the bed sometimes, but with a little patience (and some wet food or Churu), he's realizing how nice it feels to be part of the action.<br/><br/>Recently, Dusty discovered that laps are much warmer and cozier than the kitchen floor - and he's been happily settling in for cuddles ever since! He loves gentle pets, head scratches, and being brushed once he feels safe.<br/><br/>When he's not soaking up affection, Dusty enjoys people-watching from the window or snoozing the day away. He's the perfect companion for someone patient and kind who can help him continue to blossom and feel secure.<br/><br/>Dusty is about 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find a calm forever home where he can keep building his confidence and enjoy a cozy lap of his own. <br/><br/>All of AdvoCat Rescue's cats and kittens are fostered in private homes. We require a completed pre-application to be submitted prior to scheduling potential adopters to meet them. Once an application is approved, we then schedule a virtual meet & greet.
