Hi, I'm Dusty. Ive been in foster care for about 10 months. Thanks to a patient foster home, Ive made huge progress. I'm still shy and skittish, but Ive started asking for pets, following my humans around the house, and learning that people might actually be okay.<br/><br/>Here's what I'm looking for in my forever home: Quiet home only -- no tiny humans, please.<br/><br/>A friendly pet sibling willing to give me time to settle in.<br/>Lots of windows, toys, and treats would be a plus.<br/><br/>I'm an independent girl, but once I settle in, Ill let you know when I'd like affection. Treat time is currently my love language. I still hiss or growl when I'm uncomfortable, so I need someone who understands that I'm not mean, I'm just learning how to feel safe.<br/><br/>My foster mom believes I'll truly blossom once I have a home of my own where I can settle into a routine and explore life at my own pace. I may never be the cat who greets strangers at the door, but for the right person, I think I'll become a very special companion.<br/> <br/>She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV and FELV.
