Dust Bunny and Raccoon's Story
Dust Bunny (2 1/2 years) and Raccoon (2 years) , a mother and daughter bonded pair.

Both are from a cat colony under I-5 and have been in foster care since November 2023.

The mother, Dusty Bunny was semi-feral but is now coming out of her shell. She feels secure in her cat tower also likes going out on the outdoor catio. She is playful and curious and vocal. She is still learning to be less shy with people. If you sit with her she will come over to you for a pet and belly rub.. She will continue to become more trusting in a forever home with patience and human interaction. She has come a very long way from being in a feral colony. She does like to play with cat toys, rugs, lasers, and with Raccoon. She likes to chirp when calling for Raccoon.

Raccoon, Dust Bunny's daughter, is more socialized and can be handled, although she’ll complain about it, silly girl. She loves to run around and play with toys, boxes, etc. and wrestle with her Mom. Raccoon greets you every morning with meows for treats and pets. She also loves being out on the catio!

Both cats snuggle with each other and love treats. They will call for you sometimes, especially when you’re with their breakfast or treats. Both will bring much joy to someone who is patient and kind.

What Dust Bunny and Raccoon are looking for in a home:
- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- Both have been around other cats, dogs, and kids.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Thank you for your interest in Dust Bunny and Raccoon!
