Dust Bunny's Story

Dust Bunny was trapped through the Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program alongside other community cats. She was spayed and ear tipped as part of the program. When it became clear she was suited for life indoors, we jumped into action to place her in a specialized foster home where she could safely learn what indoor life is all about.

Dust Bunny is a curious kitty who is very food-motivated, with tube treats being the quickest way to her heart. She's a bit of a night owl and loves zooming around after dark. Pompoms and feather toys are her favourites, and she'll happily chase them across the room when her foster tosses them. She also has a soft spot for tall cat trees and window hammocks, where she can perch, observe, and snooze.

While Dust Bunny is still building confidence with people, she enjoys being near them and will often sit on the couch close by, quietly taking everything in. She is very comfortable around dogs and has happily shared tube treats with her canine foster sibling-including gentle nose touches. She also loves the company of other cats and enjoys playing, cuddling, and often laying right on top of them.

Dust Bunny is looking for a family willing to give her the time and space to come out of her shell on her own terms. Having other animals in the home is a must, as she relies on their presence to feel confident and learn her surroundings. She would do best in a calm home with older, respectful children, and loud parties are not her style.

While Dust Bunny isn't a lap cat (yet), her unique personality, quiet charm, and playful moments are sure to bring joy and laughter to the right home.

Dust Bunny is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. She's ready to find her forever family. Ask us about a home trial!
