Meet Duke

Aptly named, regal Duke is a handsome house panther. Although still shy with humans, he has made a tremendous amount of progress in foster care. Introductions work best when he is allowed to initiate contact in an open space. He can warm up quickly and show you just how sweet and affectionate he can be. Duke enjoys being petted and receiving back scratches. He also loves to be brushed! Duke dislikes being picked up, but enjoys being loved on while his human is sitting on the couch, and will even lay across your lap. He gives forceful cheek rubs and head bumps to show his affection. His favorite activity, however, is chasing treats tossed or hidden around the house. He even recognizes the word, "Treats!" Duke is very vocal, and very good at communicating his desires. Duke likes to be around, wrestle and play with other cats. He would make a great kitty brother. Will Duke choose you as his favorite person ever?Available for adoption from Kitty Kat Haven and Rescue
