Duffy's Story

Duffy is a young, playful and entertaining big boy. He wants to be with his humans 24/7 and while you're watching TV or at the end of the day when you get in bed, he will want to lay down next to you for affection. He is extremely smart, so his brain needs to be stimulated with daily playing sessions. Duffy is also very food motivated, but his foster mom thinks a patient person could train him on a few commands. He is not a fan of being picked up and held. He can live just fine with dogs or cats but he will require a proper introduction period to get used to his new furry family members. Duffy was born around September 13, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Bristol. He is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Foster and Forever Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy

We adopt to CT residents ONLY. We do not ship our animals. If you are interested in adopting, please send us an application from our website (www.fosterandforever.org) or send us an email (fosterandforever@gmail.com). For the safety of our cats and adopter’s children, families with children under 5 years of age will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All of our animals are housed at volunteer foster homes. One of the most rewarding ways you can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals is by volunteering to be a foster pet parent. Fostering gets animals out of shelters and unsafe conditions into safe, loving, homes where they can grow and heal until they are ready for permanent adoption. We are always in need of foster homes for cats! Foster and Forever will provide food and litter and cover all veterinary costs; all you need is a safe place and an open heart.
