He’s especially vocal around mealtimes, never missing a chance to share his opinions about yummy food. Ducky is full of personality and has a playful streak a mile wide. He’s a big fan of wand toys—sometimes taking his time to stalk like a pro, other times dashing so fast you’d think he was trying out for the feline Olympics. Tunnels are another favorite; you’ll often catch him darting through them like a bolt of lightning.<br/><br/>Affectionate on his own terms, Ducky doesn’t seek out a lot of human attention, but he does love a good neck scratch—he’s just a little shy about asking for it. If he sees his feline buddy Eve getting pets, he’ll casually rub on things (and her) as his subtle way of saying, “I’m open to some scritches too.” Ducky is affectionate with Eve though. They share a sweet bond: they cuddle, groom, and exchange gentle head bunts. We’d love to see Ducky and Eve be able to go home together as their companionship helps each other to grow their relationships with their people.<br/><br/>When it’s treat time, Ducky lights up. To put that enthusiasm to good use, he’s been learning clicker training and already knows how to “sit” and follow basic targets.<br/><br/>Independent but deeply endearing, Ducky prefers his own cozy spot—often across the room—where he can nap in peace while keeping an eye on the action. <br/><br/>Est. DOB June 2016, he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FIV/Felv negative. <br/><br/>Adopters will also receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our Petstore partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and All Paws). <br/><br/>Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue.
