Duchess's Story

This stunning pure white beauty is ready for a home of her own. About 2–3 years old and currently in foster care, she is a loving, playful companion who forms a strong bond with her people.

She was originally found outside and brought to a shelter while pregnant, where she safely raised three fluffy white kittens who have all since been adopted. Now it’s finally her turn to be the one adored.

In foster care she has shown herself to be affectionate and devoted. Once she knows she’s loved, she enjoys being picked up, giving sweet little neck kisses, and curling up with her person at night. She also likes to follow her people around the house like a loyal little guardian—especially if you’re headed into the kitchen!

She’s a playful girl who loves her tunnel, toys, and hideaway condo, and regular playtime makes her happiest. She is very food-motivated, especially with Churu treats. Despite her playful nature, she’s a fairly quiet cat and not much of a meower. She also enjoys relaxing by the window and taking peaceful afternoon naps.

She would likely do best in a calm home where someone is around much of the time, as she enjoys companionship and attention. A one-cat household may be ideal, though she could potentially live with a confident cat or possibly a larger calm dog.

Because she is a pure white cat with delicate pink skin, she must remain an indoor-only cat as white cats are sensitive to prolonged direct sunlight.

This sweet, resilient girl has raised her kittens and is now ready for the best part of her life—a safe, loving home of her own.

If you're interested in meeting Duchess, please contact Frances at mfwallour@gmail.com.

A link is located on the right-hand side of our Home Page. Once received, an Adoption Counselor will contact you within 72 hours or less to book your appointment. Adoption Fee: $125.00 Our adoption fee generally covers everything your new feline friend needs to start their journey with you: *Spaying or Neutering: Ensuring the well-being of our cats and controlling the pet population. *Microchipping: A permanent identification method to keep your furry friend safe. *Vaccinations: Up-to-date vaccines tailored to the specific needs of each cat. *Fecal Testing and Deworming: A comprehensive approach to intestinal health. *Viral Testing (FeLV/FIV): Conducted on all adults and most kittens based on their origin. *Comprehensive Blood Work: For many of our adult cats, ensuring their overall current health. In addition to all standard treatments outlined above, many of our cats and kittens have received costly treatment for other maladies that result from abandonment or starting life on the streets. Of course, if you would like to make a larger donation to help cover our care for the homeless cats, we would be delighted. All donations over the adoption fee are tax deductible. Why Choose Peter Zippi? At Peter Zippi Memorial Fund, we're not just about adoptions; we're about creating lifelong connections between our feline friends and loving families. Our Adoption Counselors are dedicated to making your adoption experience joyful and memorable. *We often offer hard-to-place and special needs cats.* At Peter Zippi, we believe that kittens under 5 months of age thrive best with a feline companion. To ensure their happiness and healthy development, we adopt kittens in pairs or to homes with an age-appropriate resident cat. Growing up with another cat helps kittens learn social skills, provides essential companionship, and encourages active play. We appreciate your understanding and support in giving our kittens the best start in life! Thank you for considering adopting from Peter Zippi Memorial Fund, where every cat's journey to a forever home begins with support from the community.
