Duchess's Story

Hi I'm Duchess, an approximately 5 year old long haired tortie but right now I'm sporting a summer coat.

I will need an attentive mom or dad to brush my luxurious coat once, once it grows back of course. I would prefer to be the only cat in the house.

I was left with my friend Button with some care for a long time, with no one to care for my beautiful fur properly.

When my foster mom came to get me I was so scared, and she was asked if I had bitten her yet? Well lucky for me, my foster mom was so gentle and kind that when she picked me up, I snuggled into her and purred.

I am so much better now, embracing the role of a support kitty. I love to give my foster mama cuddles, kisses and head butts and one of my favourite places to lay is on her chest.

I get to sit in a window on a soft perch and watch the cars, or curl up in the beautiful sunshine.

I love to interrupt what my foster mom or dad is doing and demand head scratches.
I'm quiet, but if breakfast is late, I'll remind you with my soft squeak.

Do you have a window I can enjoy and plenty of grilled cat food?
If you do I'll be your friend, if you'll be mine.
