Meet Duchess!<br/><br/>This gorgeous girl came to AWS from Jefferson County Animal Control. She was taken into their custody during a cruelty investigation & they were later granted custody of her. We are hoping to find her a new forever home!<br/><br/>Duchess is estimated to be close to 2 years old. <br/><br/>Since being with us, Duchess has shown that while she tolerates other animals at times, she would benefit from a home where she is an only pet. She tends to want to bully other cats as well as dogs.<br/>Duchess needs a home with NO SMALL KIDS. She gets overstimulated easily and will use her claws to show it. Due to this, we will not place her in a home with small, young children.<br/><br/>She is definitely a keep to herself type of cat.<br/><br/>She is spayed, vaccinated, & microchipped!
