➡️WE DO NOT RESPOND to Petfinder Inquiry (not enough volunteer time)
➡️Please Read Bios
➡️Email with questions
➡️Thoroughly complete the adoption application LINK provided below
➡️Our cats are considered MISFITS most people would not desire. This means they have quirks you must recognize and be able to explain how you can and will embrace them. We take placement of them seriously and want the very best match for both kitties and humans.

INTAKE 1/2026

🍗 Meet Drumstick: The Barn Cat Who Failed "Feral School"

Drumstick started his journey trying to be a rugged, mysterious barn cat in the dead of winter. He tried to keep his distance. He tried to act tough. But then, he made a fatal error for an aspiring wild cat: He meowed. The second he let out that "hello," the gig was up. We knew he wasn't a barn cat—he was just a confused house cat who had lost his way (and his snacks).

🙀 The World’s Most Sensitive Soul
Drumstick is, quite literally, afraid of his own shadow. He is a "jump first, ask questions later" kind of guy. If a tissue falls or a floorboard creaks, Drumstick might briefly teleport to the other side of the room. He is shy, apprehensive, and startles easily—but it’s all a front for the love-bug hiding underneath.

🛑 Personal Space? Never Heard of It.
Once Drumstick realizes he’s safe, he undergoes a total personality transplant. He goes from "hiding in the shadows" to "standing on your face" in record time.

The Velvet Bulldozer: He has absolutely zero concept of personal boundaries. He will put himself front and center of whatever you are doing.

The Shadow-Mode: He doesn't just want to be in the room; he wants to be on you.

👯‍♂️ The Need for a "Bodyguard" (Cat Friend Required)
Drumstick is a socialite who lacks self-confidence. Because he’s a bit of a nervous wreck on his own, he must have a feline sibling in his new home.

The Criteria: His future cat-friend needs to be okay with a roommate who has no boundaries and will likely follow them around like a fuzzy, slightly worried shadow.

The Result: Other cats help him realize that the vacuum cleaner isn't actually a dragon, and life is much better when you have a buddy to nap with.

📋 Drumstick’s Ideal Life
A Work-From-Home Human would be awesome but not required as long as he has his kitty friends. He’s a "people person" now and wants someone around to reassure him that he’s a good boy.

Confidence Boosting: He needs a patient human who will celebrate his "brave" moments (like not running away from the toaster).

Indoor-Only Forever: He’s done with the barn life. He’s traded in his "wild cat" card for a "luxury indoor lifestyle" card. Catios and walks will terrify him back to what once was.

If you’re looking for a sweet, slightly dramatic, and incredibly loving companion who will worship the ground you walk on (once he’s sure it’s not going to move), Drumstick is your guy!

Health:
• ADoB: 9/2024
• Neutered
• Rabies
• Distemper
• Dewormer
• Flea Preventative
• Microchipped

Lifestyle:
• Must have a feline buddy, or two or three
• Older respectful/calm children will be fine, he gives love bites
• Calm dogs who leave her alone will be fine
• Someone who is home a lot
• INDOOR companion only no catios or walks

Sorry, no volunteers to answer petfinder's inquiry button.
