Droid's Story

Droid is one of 5 cats who were left abandoned at the shelter. All 5 are super sweet and friendly! They seem to be well taken care of and have experience in all kinds of environments- they are all outgoing and happy and thriving despite their world suddenly turning upside down. We'd love to see some of them stay together in their new homes!! Droid in particular is probably the shyest of them all. But he generally comes when called which is a huge bonus! His favorite things are hiding as high up as he can (he lifted up our suspended ceiling tiles and was up in the ceiling) and sometimes looks up at the ceiling still, and wonders how he can get back up there! if he isn’t eating his kibble, he is generally found hiding under a bed staying nice and cozy warm. He is the biggest out of the 5, and has a heart of gold. He doesn’t overly care for being held, but will happily accept all the attention you will give him otherwise in means of pets and rubs. He would thrive best in a quieter household and preferably with older kids where he can be more relaxed. He is an older man (7-8 years) looking for his fur-ever spot.
If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together!
All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at: https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-application/
