Dragonfly's Story

Birthday: March 19, 2025

Dragonfly was in dire need of medical attention when she was discovered. She was caught during a TNR mission and taken straight to the vet for an evaluation. Her eyes were severely infected, and she suffered from an upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, after antibiotics were administered to her, she's fully recovered and much happier for it! However, one eye was damaged to the point where she had limited vision. However, that doesn't stop her from living life to the fullest!

As you can imagine, Dragonfly is a bit shy and skittish, but she has improved since her foster began to work with her. After she learned that she gets treats after taking her eye medicine, she gladly accepts pets from her foster. It may take some time for her to fully trust humans, but she's on the right track! As long as her new family understands of her nervous behavior, she'll grow more attached to them. She is not a fan of being held but is getting better with that. She likes to be petted and sometimes rolls for belly rubs.

Dragonfly does have some spunk in her too, surprisingly! She loves to play with her other feline buddies, especially Beetle and Butterfly! She covets toys like they are the holy grail! The only thing better than toys is food! She can't get enough of her canned meals, and it can make for a great bribe to ger her used to petting while she eats!

Dragonfly's adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
If you would like more information on Dragonfly, please contact Kim at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://alovingcarecatrescue.org/adoptionapplicationonline.html

Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.
