Drago's Story

Ever wanted to own your own dragon? Now is your chance! Drago is a big boy who will make his presence known. He is always asking for something, either food or attention. At twice the size of sisters, he doesn't mind throwing his weight around! He loves, loves, loves to be held and played with. He will jump into your lap and give you a big head butt. He sometimes gets a little rambunctious in his playing and definitely needs another young cat in his future family to drain off some of his energy. Drago has yet to meet a toy he doesn't like! He chases balls and wands, climbs trees and battles ball towers. With his beautiful soft fur, and bigger than life personality, this little dragon is sure to steal your heart!

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy
CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues.  Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted.  Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore.  Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens). Kitty Corner is open for adoptions on Saturday, Sunday & Mo
