Draco's Story

Draco is a sweet boy who is definitely a lap cat. He was outdoors for a long time and he and many other cats were being fed by a young family. They noticed how friendly Draco was so they started spending more time getting to know him and when they knew he needed to be an indoor kitty they reached out to Heartland.<br/><br/>Draco has become a very affectionate boy and is learning to play with toys. He likes looking out the window, sleeping under the bed, and lounging on someone’s lap. He should be in a home with no children or older kids who can read his body language. He really gets into being loved on, but he can become overstimulated and snap. He doesn’t bite but it could alarm a young child. This may become more and more infrequent as he settles in to a new home. He is not a fan of other cats but tolerates his furry roommates.<br/><br/>Draco has hair as shiny and soft as velvet! He is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and is current on vaccinations. 14248JT

Cat adoptions are by appointment and are conducted at the O'Fallon & Wentzville Petsmart stores or at the Whisker Station Cat Cafe in Kirkwood. Dog adoptions are by appointment. Interested parties may fill out an adoption application at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/58117/generic In order to be considered for an adoption you must: Be at least 21 years of age Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household. Have a landlord's name and phone number if you rent. Understand that Heartland Humane Society must approve your application.
