DOVE's Story

Sweet little Dove got her name because of the little trill she makes when she's happy. And she'll be happy a lot if you give her a loving home! She really enjoys it when you pet her and show her affection, and she'll purr to let you know. She's a grey and black Domestic Short Hair mix, and a sweet senior at about 16 years. She loves people and loves to play with toys. She's blind in one eye, probably from an injury, but she doesn't let it slow her down at all -- she has a great disposition and loves life. She'd probably do best in a home where she's the only cat, and would probably do well with older children. Right now she's in a temporary foster home, but we'll be happy to set up a meet-and-greet with you -- just call us at 904-321-1647 or email, info@nassauhumane.org. If you'd like to give a sweet cat a second chance for her retirement years, please come see our little Dove!
