Dove Dove is a Female white and grey DSH DOB: May of 2024 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a very sweet girl; I enjoy pets and getting all the love and attention possible. I will follow you around just because I am curious about what is going on and I do chirp as I do so. I love to observe and watch nature outside. I am not much of a playful cat, I might decide I like to play in my new home, but I am not sure yet. I mostly like to take long naps in big comfy beds! I can be quite vocal when I am looking for more attention. I like to be goofy sometimes, anything to get your attention! I can be independent as well... that is my nap time! I do enjoy playing with toys and running after them, I do have a lot of personality... just wait till I show it to you! I would do best in a home with older children 10+ pending observations and if they respect my boundaries. I do not mind being held for a short period of time, but I will let you know when I have had enough. I may do okay in a home with a cat friendly dog pending a slow and proper introduction. I would do okay as a single cat, but I would also do okay in a home with another cat not looking for a playmate. I can coexist in a home with other cats. I really am a sweet, easy-going girl just looking for my forever home! Could that be you?

Humane Society of South Central Michigan's Adoption Policy

You MUST submit all applications through our website, www.hsscm.org. We do NOT receive queries from petfinder! All adoptions begin with an application. If you are interested in adopting a dog, you need to first fill out an adoption application. Applications are available on our website under the 'adoption' tab or at our shelter on Watkins Road. After your application is processed and approved, we have you go into an adoption counsel with one of our staff members. During your counsel, we will talk to you about the dog that you are interested in, answer any questions you may have, and let you spend some one-on-one time with the pet. If you have another dog in the home, we will also do a dog-to-dog match-up before you fill out the adoption paperwork. Home visits are occasionally required, depending on the pet.
