Dougie's Story

Dougie was rescued as part of a TNR program that was taken on by an individual who did the trap and neuter part, but couldn’t do the return part, as it wasn’t safe. He’s been in foster care for a year and has come a very long way. He’s friendly with his people, and he likes other cats, but he does take a little while to warm up, so he requires a little bit of patience. He’s approximately two years old, neutered, and microchipped. He will be your snuggle buddy in no time if you give him the chance.

When healthy and ready for adoption, our precious felines are neutered/spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Only after all prerequisites are completed, the cats are then available for adoption to potential families who have completed an adoption application either in person at an adoption event, or by email. The Hawaii Cat Foundation continues to care for the cats in various foster homes until they are adopted to a safe and loving home with their forever families.
