Dotty's Story

Dotty and Buddy are a senior mother/son pair who are searching for a loving home to retire in and be loved on for the rest of their days. They have been together since the day Buddy was born, and due to changes in their previous owners' health, have found themselves looking to settle into next chapter in their lives. This sweet duo is quiet and unassuming. They don't ask for much - just a cozy spot on the couch and a gentle hand to give a backrub. If you have room in your heart (and your lap!) for a easy-going pair of older kitties, Dotty and Buddy would love to meet you!

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy

CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues. Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted. Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore. Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens).
