Dot 's Story
Sweet Dot came to Pets Bring Joy in 2023 bonded with a kitty named Opie.
They were adopted and returned due to Opie's medical conditions. While Dot himself has always been a healthy kitty, Opie had multiple medical problems. We made the decision to keep them together given how strong their bond was. This December, 2025, Opie crossed the Rainbow Bridge leaving a sad mourning Dot behind.
Dot is a shy kitty. He needs a home open to shy cats willing to wait for him to blossom....which he absolutely does. Dot does not have a mean bone in his body. We are hoping to find a home with a welcoming cat ready for a new brother. Dot has gotten pudgy so we think a house with space to run around in and another kitty to chase will help him get his summer body back :)

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?

Please visit pbj.org and click the ADOPT link at the top of the page to complete a no-obligation adoption application and to view our adoption fees.

It's best to apply and be pre-approved to adopt before attending an adoption event.

We are always in need of foster homes ... to learn more, please visit pbj.org and click the FOSTER button at the top of our home page.

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV combo testing, microchipping, and spay/neuter.
