Dory's Story

Dory gave birth to a litter of kittens in an abandoned cab. Her and her babies were found and brought into rescue. Dory is now ready to find her own home. Dory is a sweet girl who LOVES her humans. She loves pets and cuddles and laying in the sun. She loves watching Cat TV sitting on the back of the couch. She loves interacting with her human.Dory does love people, but she is not fond of other animals. Dory would truly be perfect for an older couple/person that wanted a companion. You would be Dory's entire world and she would shower you with all of the love you could want.Dory MUST be the ONLY animal in the home. Teenage children would be fine. Dory does love to be in high places. A few places in her home where she can be higher up would be fantastic.Dory may take a day or two to acclimate to her new environment, but that wait is worth it as she is full of nothing but love.The volunteers that take care of the cats at PetSmart love her to bits.

Heartland Humane Society of Missouri's Adoption Policy

Cat adoptions are by appointment and are conducted at the O'Fallon & Wentzville Petsmart stores or at the Whisker Station Cat Cafe in Kirkwood. Dog adoptions are by appointment. Interested parties may fill out an adoption application at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/58117/generic In order to be considered for an adoption you must: Be at least 21 years of age Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household. Have a landlord's name and phone number if you rent. Understand that Heartland Humane Society must approve your application.
