Doris's Story
Doris has two goals: get pets and play.

She is always on the lookout for any free hands that can give her some good neck scritches. If no hands are in her reach, she will alert you with her squeaky meows. You don't have to worry about getting it right; she will gently guide your hands with her paws and wiggle into place, so you know you're petting her exactly the way she wants.

When it comes to playtime, she is crazy for a pom pom. She loves to carry them around and chases them with full force. But Doris knows there's more to the world of play than pom poms, and anything can be a toy. She has been seen playing with crumpled receipts, tags on towels, the corner of a rug... if she can move it, she can play with it!

Doris was originally an outdoor cat who was brought indoors after getting pregnant. Despite being so young and small, she was a great mom. But now that her kittens are grown up, she's ready to search for her forever home.

She's a little shy with new humans, but warms up fairly quickly. She would love to go to a home with another cat she can befriend, or with one of her kittens, Abracadabra, Hocus Pocus, or Alakazam. She has never met a dog before, but with a slow introduction she will likely warm up to dogs, too.

DOB: 4/2/25

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes. We do require a completed application prior to setting up a Meet & Greet in a foster home.
