Dorinda's Story

Introducing Little Miss DORINDA! DORINDA is an adorable brown/black tabby offset with white fur on her chin, chest and paws. DORINDA is a junior kitty that our vet staff estimates to be between the age of 6 months to one year old.

DORINDA made her way to our cat center doors after we received a phone call from an elderly couple. The elderly couple had a total of four young kitties (all littermates) on their property they were trying to feed and care for as best they could. All four kitties were young and became accustomed to the elderly couple's kindness and consistent daily feeding interactions. We asked one of our amazing partner rescues to step in and assist with trapping...the rest is history! DORINDA was a touch shy/timid at first and took some time to settle in. DORINDA was receptive to being pet and clearly enjoyed gentle human touch. DORINDA is cute as a button, and every day she gets a bit bolder, braver and more comfortable with her surroundings. DORINDA can be picked up, but she isn't totally at ease or relaxed with it yet. However, we are confident she will get there. DORINDA will purr like a machine when she feels content and safe. DORINDA enjoys her comfy, cozy cat bed, and we think she will blossom into one lucky adopter(s) perfect feline companion someday!

Spayed, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.

If you'd like to meet DORINDA, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
