Doodlebug's Story

Meet Doodlebug! <br/><br/>Doodlebug is 1 year old now and has been in our rescue since she was only 3 weeks old. She was found at a feral colony and had a terrible URI when arriving to us. <br/><br/>Then at around 8 months old, she developed a swollen salivary gland that caused her issues for months where we had to keep going back to the vet and draining the salivary gland to keep her comfortable. It got to the point where referral was recommended and we ended up going to Metropolitan in Akron to get her a specialized surgery to remove the entire salivary gland. <br/><br/>Thankfully, surgery was a success and she hasn’t had any issues since then. Doodlebug is a very affectionate kitty and loves attention! Furrever & After Cat Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters will need to fill out an adoption application. We then would do background checks when it comes to someone wanting to adopt from us. This includes contacting your vets office and your personal references. We may also set up a home visit. Once approved, we would then set up a meet and greet for you to come and meet the cats and kittens we have available for adoption.
