Pender County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
You must be over 18 year of age a bring a photo ID. Animals must be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. If you have been convicted of an animal welfare crime you will not be able to adopt from PCAS. Due to Covid 19 - the public cannot enter the building. Dogs ca be viewed outside, cats can be viewed online. All animals can be viewed ahead of adoption and "holds" placed. We contact potential adopters in the order we were contacted once the animal is available. Health or behavior may void previous holds.
