Donna's Story

Best Match:

Seeking an adopter with some cat experience

Could join a calm home with older kids

May prefer to be the only cat

Needs to be indoor only

This fluffy queen is Donna! As you can see, she doesn’t have to be doing much at all to be adorable: she’s beautiful, and she’s cute by nature. She’ll stretch out on her back when she’s comfortable and look at you with those beautiful eyes, and you’ll be hooked.

Playtime is Donna’s jam! She loves all toys—she will leap and go after wand toys, will chase little balls and such around the house. She also likes a good kicker; something she can really sink her back feet and legs into. She’ll sometimes get the zoomies, but she’s just as happy to entertain herself with her toys or keep you company while you relax. When she’s not playing, Donna likes curling up in a cozy cat bed, with her paw or head hanging off the side, which is extra sweet. She’s also a bird-watching enthusiast and she’ll make a hilarious little chatter sound in excitement when she sees them.

When Donna first arrived in her foster home, she was a little shy but warmed up quickly. She didn’t hide for long and was soon out and about exploring. She’s the type of cat who typically prefers to be near you, as opposed to on your lap, but she’ll make it clear when she wants attention with head butts or gentle nudges. At times she can get overstimulated and may treat your hand as a toy, or tell you she is done with pets- but she’s smart, treat-motivated, and quick to learn. She’s very good at listening when you ask her not to do something. You can win her over straight away with a delicious Churu or Party Mix snack.

An ideal day for Donna starts with breakfast, followed by playtime. She’s very respectful of your sleep schedule and will happily wait to greet you in the morning once you’re up. Then it’s time to look for birds! The afternoon is spent snoozing, followed by more bird watching. After dinner, it’s time for more play, treats, and some quality TLC. If you’re looking for a playful companion who will keep you smiling, Donna is the one for you.

Donna is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
