Personal reference is also called. Application is reviewed to make sure that the person is responsible, financially, emotionally, and physically. The landlord is contacted if applicable. A meet and greet is scheduled if all checks out. A home visit with the potential adopter takes place to verify that the home is safe (virtual option may be available).
