Domino's Story
This handsome boy is Domino. He is 2-years-old and weighs 9.2 lb. Domino is at a foster home, not at our shelter. His foster says "Life hasn't been easy for Domino. He came from a life on the streets where he and his colony eeked out a living until someone started poisoning them. Fortunately the wonderful group of ladies who had been feeding them called me and with the support of DAWS, I trapped all 7 including Domino. All but Dom and Magpie have found their forever homes. Domino came in terrified, hiding under the bed and panicked. But over the months he is learning to trust. Now he comes running when it's time to eat and sits nearby patiently waiting. He is sleeping on the couch now and stays put when I walk by. And last week...he let me touch him. Now Domino has actually started to play with the wand toy and takes food off a spoon I was holding. He's ready. Ready to take a chance. Ready to trust. Ready to find his match in this game of life. Can you be the Domino that finds his perfect partner?" Domino is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and healthy. His adoption fee is $175. If you would like to meet/adopt Domino, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org with questions or for more assistance.
