Dolores, affectionately known as Dottie, has her paws crossed for a home for the holidays! This adorable 1 year old girl loves to spend her time exploring and being your center of attention! This cutie is go go go, whether its with her wand toys or climbing high for a daily household adventure. The exception to this? Her beloved snoozing hammock, where she can be happily found enjoying a catnap of two! Dottie is an instantly friendly and trusting girl with her people, flopping over for a good belly rub and gentle pets. She would prefer a home without any other kitties and where she can live it up as your center of attention. Think she could be your match? She thinks so too! About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

We ask all potential adopters to complete an adoption application. A veterinary reference and proof of home ownership OR landlords approval is required. After everything rescue cats have been through, our top priority is placing them into the best matched forever homes. We treat each cat as an individual and assess potential adopters based on that cat’s needs.
