Dolly's Story
Dolly came to Good Mews from a situation where her owner was unable to care for all of her cats properly and needed help. Dolly had not been spayed, so she had a few litters of kittens at a young age and she was so busy raising her babies that she didn't have a lot of time for proper socialization. For this reason, Dolly is shy with people. We are confident that with a very patient person she will come out of her shell and blossom. Her adopter just needs to be prepared that might take a while and Dolly may seek refuge in a hidey bed until she is feeling braver. While at the shelter, Dolly made friends with another shy cat named Miriam. They were always seen together, grooming and cuddling with each other. As time went on, we saw that they formed a very special bond that we never wanted to break. So we decided they would have to be adopted together. Since they are both shy, they will bring each other comfort when they enter their next phase in life, a forever home.

So if you are willing to give two sweet girls a forever home, and have a lot of patience, please come and meet Dolly and Miriam. They would do fine in a home with other cats as they get along well with the kitties at the shelter.

Dolly is BFF with Miriam so they must be adopted together!
