Dolly's Story
Dolly is a 1-year-old white and gray girl who needs a little time to decide that you're a friend. When someone first enters her space, she may stay tucked in her bed or cautiously peek out to sniff an offered hand. Loud or quick movements can make her nervous, and she may retreat or give a few little hisses when she feels overwhelmed.

Once Dolly gets to know you, though, she has a much sweeter response. She settles in and enjoys gentle pets, especially around her head and neck. She'll need a quiet, patient home where she can take her time getting comfortable and learn that she's safe.

Dolly hasn't lived with other animals or children before, so those would be new experiences for her. If you're willing to let this shy girl set the pace, you may get to watch a whole new side of Dolly emerge as she learns to trust you.
