Doll is a total sweetheart! She is super affectionate to other cats, she enjoys "caring" for and cleaning the other "momma cats" in the room. Doll came in as a young mom, her kittens are weaned but she likes to take care of any cat that will let her pamper them. She is a pretty lady with a pink nose. We estimate her to be around a year old. COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them if adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. We are registered with the USDA and WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, Microchip, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you

Dixie Adoptables's Adoption Policy

Our Adoption Process: Our goal is to match the right pet with the right adopter. 1. Once we receive the completed application, we will call your vet references, personal reference, and landlord (if applicable). 2. Once you get an approval, we will set up a time for a phone call and typically can offer a video call with the potential animal. 3. All adoptions will be finalized and fees collected prior to the transport of your new family member. Adoption fees will not be refunded if you simply change your mind. We only hold an animal for adoption once a deposit has been paid or the full adoption fee has been paid. 4. We will coordinate with you to transport your new pet to one of our many transport destinations if you are not a local adopter. **We reserve the right to refuse an adoption**

Dixie Adoptables is a 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a rescue, not a shelter, and as such we do not have our animals housed in one location – they are in foster homes. Founded in 2008, we are committed to rescuing, caring for, and adopting homeless dogs and cats into loving and responsible homes.
