Dodger's Story

I'm Dodger and I'm proof that dreams really do come true! I was living in the WAAL parking lot, just wishing and hoping for a chance at a real home. I am so sweet and the nice people at WAAL decided to give me a chance! I'm learning how to be brave so I'd probably do best in a quieter home because loud noises are still a little scary and I'd like a feline friend to play with and show me it's good to be brave. I do love people though, even little humans. I'm not a huge fan of being held, but I'll sit next to you on the couch, and I love head rubs and pets. Litterbox skills are, of course, 5-star! Wichita Animal Action League's Adoption Policy

Adoption fees vary. All animals are sterilized, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV tested (cats), microchipped, dewormed and have had monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. All animals are adopted to indoor-only homes. No declawing. Fill out an application at WAALrescue.org/adoptions to get matched with an animal and schedule a meeting.
