Howdy, folks. Doc Holliday here. Yep, I’m named fer that Wild West feller who was one of Wyatt Earp’s sidekicks. Doc was a gambler, a gunfighter, and a dentist. Now, maybe the odds weren’t too good fer starters when I got to the shelter. I am an unneutered orange tabby feller, and I was in tough shape when I was found as a stray in Dover. I am very thin, was starving! I still eat like there’s no tomorrow. But if you’re a gambler, I’d say, “Go ahead and bet on Doc!” Gunfighter? Nope. I’m a lover, not a fighter. I love to shoot the breeze, though. I’m very amiable. I love being petted, and I sidle up and rub on folks for attention. I do so love sitting on laps and being held. I am tickled pink to get human affection; I knead on people and in the air. Finally, I ain’t no dentist like my namesake! But I’d give my eyetooth for a loving home.
