Dobby's Story

Dobby is officially ready for his forever home. This tiny boy came to us at just 4 weeks old with a fractured pelvis and a small anal prolapse, and he needed strict rest, gentle care, and a safe place to heal. We want to thank Brittany for getting him through the hardest part of his recovery. She gave him the quiet space and consistency he needed when he was at his most fragile, and because of her, Dobby is now thriving.

Dobbys doctor has confirmed that he is fully adoptable exactly as he is. Hes a happy, active, busy little guy who doesnt know any different and isnt bothered by his unique gait. He runs, plays, explores, and lives life with total confidence. He gets along beautifully with kids and is great with dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a family home.

Longterm, he may eventually need pain management, but that would be far down the line. The only thing his adopter needs to keep an eye on is his bowel movements — he may need a simple stool softener so he doesnt strain when he poops. This is easy, inexpensive, and not guaranteed; its just something to be aware of as he grows.

Dobby is sweet, social, resilient, and ready for a loving home that will adore him for the joyful little character he is. He will remain with Brittany until his forever family is found.

To adopt Dobby or request more information: Email: maytegarciasrescue@mayte.com
Text Kim 914-522-3501
