Dobby's Story

Dobby loves to play. He likes batting around balls, chasing and jumping for interactive toys, and practicing his wrestling skills with his foster family's cat, Gretyl. Fortunately, Gretyl finds him charming despite the occasional smack downs. Yes, this little 3 pound kitten runs over to Gretyl, wraps his arms around her neck and pulls her to the floor in a nanosecond. We think she's letting him do it as she's more than twice his weight and size.

Dobby is a friendly little guy but doesn't have time for cuddles. His days are filled with play, play, play, sleep, eat, play, play, play, repeat. In time, once he matures past the focus on playtime during waking hours, we think he'll enjoy cuddles and lap time as he did when he first was rescued and recovering from an upper respiratory infection. Now that he's fully recovered, he's mostly on the go!

Dobby must have a kitty friend in his home that enjoys interaction with another cat–because Dobby will insist on it. We estimate Dobby was born around April 20, 2025.
