Dixie's Story
Dixie is a young adult female who was abandoned in Hamden. She was pregnant when she was rescued and had one kitten, Pixie.

Dixie is very curious and social -- she wants to be where her people are. She will follow you around to watch what you're doing and will always want to be involved. She also enjoys pets on her own terms, so she would do better in a home without kids, or with cat-savvy kids who understand cat boundaries and can leave her alone when needed. Dixie isn't a fan of other cats, so we think a quiet home where she is the only pet would be ideal for her.

Dixie loves to play, especially with laser pointers and wand toys, and gets zoomies a couple of times a day. Be careful about leaving her unsupervised with drinks or breakables on tables -- she loves to knock things off of counters and watch them fall!

Birth Year: 2023

Birth Year: 2023

-----------------
If you are interested in adopting this cat, you MUST fill out an adoption screening form on our website: www.gnhcp.org/adoptions

We WILL NOT read any applications or inquiries from Petfinder. We only adopt to Connecticut residents.
