Ditzy's Story

Ditzy is a one-of-a-kind sweetheart with a zest for life that shines through every adorable wobble. She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), which gives her a bit of a shaky, unsteady gait—but what she lacks in balance, she more than makes up for in love, courage, and personality. Watching her navigate the world with determination and joy is nothing short of inspiring.

Ditzy has a moderate-to-severe case of CH, so she sometimes takes her time getting where she’s going, but she approaches life with the spirit of a furry little superhero—fighting gravity with endless affection and a heart full of bravery. She’s a pro at using the litter box, though she occasionally turns the area into her own personal splash zone. Bath time is easy, and she’s remarkably unfazed by the blow dryer—one of the perks of her deafness!

In her foster home, Ditzy enjoys the company of both cats and dogs, and she gets along wonderfully with everyone. She’s incredibly friendly, always ready to meet new people, and happiest when she’s curled up for a good cuddle after a day of exploring and wobbling her way into hearts.

Ditzy thrives in a home that’s thoughtful about her mobility needs—extra crash pads, soft landings, and a layout free of high balconies or staircases ensure she can live her safest, happiest life. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she brings joy, laughter, and tender affection wherever she goes.

If you’re looking for a cat who will inspire you daily, shower you with love, and fill your home with sweetness and charm, Ditzy is ready to wobble her way straight into your heart.

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--dependent upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Ditzy, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt

Kitty CrusAIDe's Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable pets will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations, including rabies if applicable, de-wormed, and microchipped, PRIOR to adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 for a single kitten and $225 for a pair of kittens. If you find a feline friend that you'd be interested in learning more about please visit our website at www.kittycrusaide.org to submit an application. All of our animals are in private foster homes so our adoption process is 100% online. First your application will be screened and a short 15-20 minute phone interview will take place. Then one or several virtual meet & greets will be set up to introduce you to kittens that you're interested in and we feel may be a good fit for your home. A virtual home check will take place before bringing your kitten(s) home to ensure everything is safe and set-up for them. Finally, you'll bring home your new best friend! Our cats/kittens are not "first come, first serve" and forever homes are always chosen based on the best fit for each animal.
