Ditman's Story

Meet Ditman!!

Ditman is named after the street in Philly where he was rescued. When he was first found, he had a leg injury that caused him to limp. After a few weeks of rest and healing, he bounced right back and now gets around as if he was never injured at all!

Today, Ditman is an independent, well-mannered cat who would thrive in a calm, mature home. He’s perfectly happy doing his own thing—whether that’s sunbathing by the window or stretching out for a good nap on the couch—but he also enjoys being near his people and soaking up some gentle head pets.

At around 10 years old, Ditman still has a playful side! He gets the occasional burst of energy and zoomies, which are always entertaining to watch. One of his funniest quirks? Instead of chasing laser lights like most cats, Ditman actually runs away from them!

Ditman is currently being fostered in Norristown and is doing well in a home with both cats and dogs. Ditman is FIV+, but that doesn’t slow him down! FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives, and because Ditman is cat-friendly, he can safely live with FIV-negative cats as well.

If you’re looking for a relaxed companion with a sweet personality and a few adorable quirks, Ditman might just be your guy.

Ditman is rescued through City Cats Retiree Resue - if you are interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application link below:

https://forms.gle/VjeeaqyFFRaMriF29
