He was brought in with his brother and ever since his brother left his behavior has gone downhill. But he also has so many good traits also! <br/><br/>Dillon is a high energy, extremely playful guy. But in a room with 30 other cats, he gets overstimulated and needs a timeout in his cage. He can only be out of his cage while we are there to supervise him and he spends the other 20 hours per day locked up, which obviously doesn’t help his energy level. He needs time-outs mainly because he relentlessly attacks the alpha in the room. Dillon wants to play with many of the cats, but he is in a room with some older ones and no one really seems to want to be his friend. <br/><br/>Dillon can be extremely affectionate, constantly rubbing your legs and rubbing his face on your face. But he can also get overstimulated and aggressive, typically if he has a dust up with another cat and you try to grab him or pick him up, especially if he’s laying down. He will often either start roughhousing with you or get upset. He can also be mouthy when overstimulated. <br/> <br/>Dillon needs a patient adapter who understands that he is young (1-1/2years old), still learning manners and how to act. It’s hard to say if he would do better as an only cat (likely too bored) or do better in a house with one cat. It’s hard to say whether another playful cat would be a good thing for him as he does try to play with some of the cats or whether a laid-back gentle cat would be a better companion for him. If you have a cat and are interested in giving Dillon a try, you would have to know that there will probably be some physical altercations during the (hopefully very slow) introduction period, in all honesty. We would like a home with no children and no dogs. Ideally, there is a single person household or a couple willing to give this guy a chance and let him show you how loyal and loving he can be while also tolerating his kitten shenanigans for a while. I am positive that he will grow into someone’s absolute favorite pet. We just need somebody to give him that chance.<br/><br/>Dillon is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm disease.*Questions about Dillon?
