Dill's Story

Meet Dill, or as his foster family sometimes calls him, “Chill Dill.”

Dill likes a little time to take things in, particularly when there is a lot of activity around him. He may hesitate before being picked up, but once he settles into your arms, Chill Dill makes his appearance. Expect purrs, slow blinks and one very content kitten.

He loves playing with toys, either on his own or with his feline friends, and gets along well with cats of different ages and personalities. Dill also has a wonderfully observant side. While the other kittens are busy exploring, you may find him perched somewhere up high, quietly watching everything happening around him.

Dill continues to build confidence every day and would do beautifully with an adopter who appreciates his gentle nature and gives him the opportunity to settle in at his own pace.

A feline friend can make a wonderful difference during these important early months, providing companionship, play and opportunities to learn appropriate cat-to-cat social skills. We place kittens under five months in pairs or in homes with a resident cat.

Peter Zippi Memorial Fund Inc's Adoption Policy
Adoption Fee: $125.00 Our adoption fee generally covers everything your new feline friend needs to start their journey with you. At Peter Zippi, we believe that kittens under 5 months of age thrive best with a feline companion. To ensure their happiness and healthy development, we adopt kittens in pairs or to homes with an age-appropriate resident cat. Growing up with another cat helps kittens learn social skills, provides essential companionship, and encourages active play. We appreciate your understanding and support in giving our kittens the best start in life! We also understand the importance of finding the perfect match for both you and your new feline friend. That’s why we offer our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program. Instead of adopting outright, you can bring your chosen cat(s) or kitten(s) home on a trial basis to ensure it’s the best fit for everyone involved. This process allows you to get to know your new pet better and helps determine if your resident pet(s) will welcome a new companion. Typically, the foster to adopt period is one week for kittens and two weeks for adult cats. Thank you for considering adopting from Peter Zippi Memorial Fund, where every cat's journey to a forever home begins with support from the community.
