Digit's Story
Digit is a sweet gal who likely got her name because of all those extra toes! Digit came to us after changes in her family dynamic and has been to the vet and ready for a home.

Digit's age on her previous vet records says 13 but we almost can't believe it because she us such a spunky gal. She loves to scratch her big post and roll around with toys. She loves to be pet and would be more than happy to camp out on the couch and watch some TV. We don't know how she feels about other cats yet as she's been in a private area due to a special diet.

Digit also has a bit of a unique looking mouth due to a condition called Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex, in laymens terms she gets ulcers on her lips that can get quite inflamed. Since her arrival she hasn't had any flare ups and it can be hard to determine what triggers them. We are just finishing up a round of medication and hope she stays ulcer free. During her vet work up her bloodwork showed some mild increase in glucose and will need to be monitored to ensure she isn't pre diabetic.
