Diggs's Story

🐾 Meet a Very Special Senior Gentleman Looking for His Forever Home
Some cats carry stories in their eyes, and this handsome senior boy has lived a chapter filled with fear, loneliness and hunger living on the streets in Mankato, before he was taken in by a kind person.
His next chapter was filled with deep love, quiet loyalty, and heartbreaking change. His owner—his whole world—was recently diagnosed with cancer. As her illness progressed, he became increasingly attached to her, sensing in that mysterious way animals do that something was wrong and that their time together was growing short. When she could no longer care for him, she made the painful decision to let him go so he could continue to be loved and safe.

💛 And now he’s ready for a new beginning.

In his foster home, this sweet old soul has shown nothing but grace and resilience. He has been:

Calm, settling in with a quiet confidence

Brave, adapting to new routines and new faces

Friendly and affectionate, offering gentle head bumps and soft purrs

Observant, watching his foster siblings with curiosity and kindness

This boy isn’t just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone who understands the beauty of a slower pace, who appreciates the wisdom and tenderness of a senior cat, and who wants to give him the peaceful, loving chapter he deserves.

Let’s help him find the soft landing he’s earned. 🐾💛
