DIGGER's Story

DIGGER was abandoned when his guardian moved and left him behind, along 20 other cats. All of the cats were in horrible condition - loaded with fleas and had ear mites.

All of that is in the past and DIGGER is now ready to meet his new, FOREVER family. He is young so he should be able to adjust quickly to having a real home, with fewer 4-legged siblings to compete with. DIGGER is friendly with the other cats in the room, but hangs out with his buddies LEE and HIGGiNS. DIGGER likes pets, but is not insistent and will wait his turn. We do not know how he would do with dogs, but he is young enough to adapt to a non-aggressive dog. He should be ok with children old enough to understand gentle touch, no tight hugs, and don't force him to be picked up and held. As with any cat, let him go when he wants down.

With so many other cats in the former home, DIGGER probably didn't get much individual attention. He may need time to get used to being in a home where he is able to get personal loving. But he is curious, and it shouldn't be long before he realizes he is home. DIGGER deserves to be special to someone.

DOB-8/2025 Entered Shelter-08/2026

If you would like to adopt DIGGER, please visit the shelter during Adoption Hours, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm.
