Diamond's Story

Diamond - Female DOB 1/1/2019 Domestic Short Hair Brown Tabby - Meet Diamond!

Miss Diamond is a southern belle from North Carolina. She found herself living in a rough trailer park, when she was trapped by one of our NC fosters a couple of years ago. Diamond grew close to her foster family over 2 years, until Diamond was prepared to find a permanent family of her own. She now charms her favorite volunteers as she eagerly awaits a home of her own. Diamond was adopted back in December 2024 but recently surrendered back to us due to no fault of her own and her owners health conditions.

Diamond is playful and affection on her terms. She likes to be pet and scratched behind the ears. Once she settles into her new home, which doesn't take her long, she will gladly hop up on your couch and curl up next to you with her head on your lap. She doesn't like constant pets, but some here and there she loves. She will need a cat-savvy adopter who can read her signs on when she wants attention and when she doesn't. Diamond is a bit on the pleasantly plump side, therefore dry food control would be needed. She does love her wet food which is a good substitute for dry food when given 2-3 times a day.

Diamond creates deep bonds with her person, relentlessly head bunting and grooming them. She’ll let you know when she’s had enough (or not enough) attention. From past experience, she seems to grow a better bond with women.

Diamond can be a mixture of sweet and spicy. She dislikes other cats and her sweet temperament quickly changes upon seeing them, which is why she needs to be an only cat in your home. This beautiful girl will do well with someone that wants a kitty that likes attention but that is also fine entertaining herself while you are at work or gone for the day. No dogs and no children would be best for her.

Diamond has waited a long time for a family and home of her own, if you are interested in this sweet and spicy girl, please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/

All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian. Our application is available to be completed online at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/ Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval. We hold meet and greets with approved applications only. (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY.

Adoption fees:

Kitten to 1 yr - $300 Kitten pairs $550

Adult cat 1+ yr to 8 yr - $200 Adult pairs $350

Cat 8+ - $75
