Dexter's Story

Meet Dexter — the Comeback King!
Dexter was adopted from Desert Paws Rescue as a baby, but returned earlier this year when his adopter could no longer provide the care he needed. We’re so grateful he came back to us—he had some health issues that needed immediate attention, and thanks to our team, he’s now thriving and rediscovering his playful, affectionate self!
Dexter was adopted again recently, but returned once more when his adopter’s resident cat proved a bit too dominant for his gentle spirit. For this reason, we believe Dexter would do best as a solo cat—your one and only feline King. We do not want to chance another failed adoption.
Dexter is an outspoken guy who loves wand toys, catnip, and cozying up with his human. He tolerates dogs and other cats, but truly shines when he’s the center of attention. He also does well with older kids who understand his vibe.

If you’re ready to give Dexter the second chance he deserves, apply at DesertPawsRescue.org . Make sure to say you're interested in the OG Dexter since there is a kitten with the same name right now.
Let’s help this sweet boy write his happily ever after.

Dexter is neutered, microchipped, is FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

>>> If you are interested in adopting Dexter, please complete an online consultation Form at:
https://desertpawsrescue.org/cat-adoption-consultation-form
