Dexter is a young fluffy, orange male who is as handsome as he is loving. He fondly resembles a little fox, not only for his robust tail but also for his curious and clever playfulness. He recognizes his name and adores giving you head boops and bugging you for pets. Would you believe his heart is as huge as his incredible mane? <br/>Dexter loves to be close to his humans, following them around and lounging across their laps. He uses a wide variety of trills and chirps to communicate - especially to those bothersome crows! His lack of early socializing and care means he has had to stay in foster longer than usual, but he has come a long way from his nearly feral beginnings. He gets along with the other cats but may do best on his own. He would thrive in a home that can offer some quiet, lots of places to play and a sunny window with a good view. He enjoys children of school age, but can still be timid and unsure with unpredictable noises or movements.
