Dewey's Story

Dewey is a sweet, silly, social boy with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. He brings confidence, curiosity, and charm wherever he goes. If you are looking for a kitten who wants to be involved in everything, Dewey is your guy.

As a young kitten, Dewey broke his back right femur. However, he healed beautifully in a foster home without the need for surgery. He does not let his past slow him down and is now a very energetic, playful, and active kitten who loves to climb, explore, and show off how smart he is.

Dewey is extremely affectionate and enjoys being picked up, carried around, and cuddled. He is snuggly, purrs easily, and is not shy about letting you know when he wants attention or food. He is chatty, curious, and full of personality, making him a constant source of entertainment and companionship.

Playtime is one of Dewey’s favorite things. He loves interactive toys, ping pong balls, and fuzzy mice, and he is happiest when he has a playmate to share the fun with. When it is time to rest, he enjoys snuggling up with a sibling or curling into a warm, cozy bed.

Dewey is confident in new environments, easily goes into a carrier, and has excellent litter box habits. He uses scratching posts appropriately and is food motivated, happily enjoying both wet and dry food as a grazer.

He has had positive interactions with other cats and kittens and does well with adult men and women, young adults, and strangers. Dewey is not shy and would do well in a home with gentle, considerate children. He would love a home with another cat or kitten friend to match his playful and social nature.

If you are searching for a loving, outgoing, chatty kitten who wants to be your shadow and your snuggle buddy, Dewey is ready to meet you.
